HELP!!!!!!!!!!!When fat comes in contact with sodium hydroxide, it produces soap and glycerin. Determine whether this is a physical change or a chemical change. Explain your answer.
This reaction would be chemical. The reason for this is because the fat is coming in contact with the sodium hydroxide and through a chemical procees something else is formed. In this case it is soap and glycerin. Hope this helps.
