Davon had 3/4 of a bag of popcorn. His friends are half of his popcorn. What fraction of the whole bag of popcorn did Davon's friends eat.

1/2 * 3/4 = 3/8 

so his friends ate 3/8 of the bag of popcorn
1/4, or 25. When you think about it one whole would be 100% , right? 25 x 4 equals 100. Which would make that one fourth. Then half of 100 is 50. So we have our data? Yes.Now since we know one fourth is 25, 25 x 3 equals 75.Which is our 3/4. so seventy five minus fifty\50 equals 25.BOOM! Poor guy only got 25 pieces...Which is 1/4
