Yes, because if we know what our animals are thinking or feeling we can help them. For example, if they were in pain but because they’re just sitting down we would assume that their tired. That can’t help them, so if we were to know what they were thinking or feeling then maybe we can help them. We can also help wild animals instead of misunderstanding them. They could be afraid of us and trying to protect their homes, but we won’t know that because their big and scary to us, and we have no idea what their thinking. That’s why it’s important for us to know what animals are thinking or feeling.
