Using all 26 letters of the alphabet, it is possible to fill in the blanks in the following manner:

  11. sunburn

Filling in blanks to form words

First, pay close attention to the instructions. We must not use the same letter twice, which means that, for instance, the word "bordar" would be incorrect for number 9 since it repeats the letter R used in "bargain".

Second, look up the word to see if it a possibility. For example, in the end, we were left with C and X to complete number 9. After looking it up, we confirmed that "boxcar" is a real word.

Always start with the easier ones. For example, number 7 is a word we can easily complete since "pumpkin" is quite common in daily language.
