Because even if we now have more equality and rights as women did in the 50's-60's, women continue to not get paid as much as men. A woman who has made A's her whole life gets paid the same amounts of money a man does who made C's his whole life. Yes, women are now allowed to become higher occupations, but we continue to not get enough credit or recognition for those occupations.

Women still have a long way to go with regards to women's rights ​because not everyone has imbibe the notion that all men are equal and thus people needs to be oriented more and more so that it can stick in.

History is known to be on the pathway  to gender equality, and women are fighting for  women's rights and an end to gender inequality.

There is a long route to take to ensure equal endowments, participation, and also a voice for women in the society but one day, we would get there.
