What changes made in text show a desire not to make an absolute break from the English people? Why do you think it would be important that the new nation maintain its "consanguinity" or close kinship, with the english people?

Respuesta :

The Declaration of Independence says: In every stage of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people. Indicates desire to not make an absolute break.

Answer:

The Declaration of Independence claims that:

"In every stage of these oppression we have petitioned for redress in the most humble terms: our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people who mean to be free."

In spite of the British unjust treatment and control, the US still wanted to maintain its affiliation and kinship with Britain. The reason is that America was a new nation, which could be considered defenseless or vulnerable at first. As a result, having a close relationship with their former ruler would prevent future attacks or foreign tension.
