Let me back up here...Thymine is one of four nitrogenous bases (Adenine, Thymine, Cytosine, and Guanine) that are used to construct nucleotides which make up nucleic acids....DNA! So Thymine means a building block, a nitrogeneous building block used to construct DNA and Thymine is always connected to Adenine.
