Target purchases of sharpie markers for 2.50 each. They sell these same markers in the store with a markup of 150%. How much is amount of markers on each package? How much does Target charge for each package of Sharpie markers

Well to find out you multiply 2.50 by 2.50. You multiply the original price by 2.50 because they resell the marker packages for 100%, the original price with an additional 150% so 1.00+1.50=2.50
2.50 * 2.50 = 6.25
So target charges $6.25 for a package of sharpie markers.
