Why was It a problem that congress did not have the power to tax under the Articles of Confederation?

-Congress wanted to provide more services but it could not afford to without the U.S
-Congress could not regulate trade between the states
-Congress had to print its own money
-Congress had to borrow money, which increased the U.S debt.
