Zhang got an email. It said it was from Apple. The email said there were charges to her account. Her name was spelt two different ways. She could see the bill by clicking on a link. Zhang wasn't sure this email was real. What would you do? Why?

if apple was to contac someone they would of either had a job intervew or since apple is such a big company they would normaly call and real businesses dont randomly take money with out your approvel nor would they give u a link to just hop in.(ik this is not part of the work but i had a scammer email me and sice i have a very unique name they said someone guy in the office had the same name and wanted to give me the account and split it up so we can have the share since we had the "same name" pluse i am a girl and what a coincidence his whole family died so i personly looked up the buisness and ligit everyone was saying they were a scam and ngl i just gave them a hate email lol)

I would open them email , reply telling them you know it’s a scam email , and report it. I used to work for apple and we went over this a million times. Why? Because people like that are trying to gain access to your personal info, credit/debit cards, and other very personal things so, don’t even click on links and don’t ever enter your info into any website. you can also call apple and ask if they actually sent it and ask questions that you put on your account like security questions and they can easily verify and tell you that they are the real deal and that email was a complete scam.
