Well, you can simply solve that by saying;
x + 96675=280000
  What this means is; an unknown number of points need to be added to the current points to reach the required points.
 Anyway, all you have to do now is subtract 96675 from 280000. That will be;
280000-96675=x
183325=x
x=183325 points.
