This detail tells us that love can overcome any conflict. Since Romeo still loved Juliet he showed the readers that just because your family has a problem with another family, it doesn’t mean you have to be like them. This basically shows us that we should be ourselves and don’t feel tempted to do what others are doing, even if they are family.
