I really need an answer, ASAP! This is 45% of my grade.

There are two things I need to do:
1. Write an expression that is equivalent to 9x - 2/3(3y - 7) + 5x
(And I already got the answer for that using photomath: 14x + -2y + 14/3 BUT I need to do number two, which is what I need help with!)

2. Give a detailed explanation of the processes you used to complete the problem above. (It also says I should use vocabulary, like distribute, combine like terms, simplify, etc/)

So basically I need you to answer #2

I also put 25 points because I WILL FAIL IF I DON'T GET THIS DONE!! (And I have to be eligible to play because in my state, you have to pass to play.)

Answer:

start by multiplying -2/3 by 3y which gives you -2y then multiply -2/3 by -7 which gives you a positive 14/3 because a negative times a negative is a positive then add the x's which is 9x plus 5x
