This country was home to the capital of the Inca Empire, who once dominated the entire coast of South America. Their flag contains a tree, a Vicuna (cousin of the llama) and a cornucopia full of gold coins.
The state of Peru's flag consists of the Peruvian coat of arms. It is slightly different than their national flag and flown in "buildings occupied by Powers of the State".
