Tanya: It's true - plants make their own food using air, water, and light. The process it called photosynthesis, where plants make glucose, their food by using air, water, and light. In a bottle, in a way, your replicating a world: plants get carbon dioxide: vital for plant growth, through the carbon cycle, and water from the water cycle.

Sally: Wrong! Roots ar not used to take in soil, they are for water!
