A jar contains n nickels and d dimes. There is a total of 234 coins in the jar. The value of the coins is $16.10. How many nickels and how many dimes are in the jar?

Your two equations for this question would be:

n + d = 234
5n +10d = 16.10

So with that you must take your two equations and make them equal to eachother.
