100 points and brainliest! Explain what the Archimedes principle is and how it affects construction and design of boats.

Respuesta :

Answer:

Archimedes' buoyancy principle states that buoyant force -- what keeps the ship afloat -- is equal to the weight of water that is displaced when the ship enters the ocean. If the weight of displaced water is at least equal to the weight of the ship, the ship will float.

The Archimedes principle states that a given level of buoyancy is even to the amount of water that is physically affected when a solid is placed in it. So boats must keep this principle in mind. They must have a consistent and even structure so the weight is evenly distributed. This will cause the buoyancy to be even from the principle of course, so the boat will float how it is supposed to.
