Elizabeth Cady Stanton along with her husband traveled to New York where they prepared a document that deliberately modeled the declaration of independence. The declaration of women sentiments was read out aloud by the women abolitionist Elizabeth Cady.
The document revealed that the women were also equal counterparts to men and they are also been with some rights equal to men. It highlighted that for many decades’ women were doomed to remain silent and the right time has arrived wherein women must be conferred with the right of enfranchisement.
