In simple terms a group of people of a particular political part , religion , or cultural group want to impose their own beliefs,customs, way of life and attitude on the on the minority group which do not follow or believe in the same things.
This occurs because there exist some measure differences between these groups , the other group has different language, religion,customs,traditions and moral norms and they want others to adopt all of these forcefully.
The dominant group may want to replace the way that the other group lives and change it to the way that they live without the consent of the minority, non dominant group.
Kurt wants to force his own way of life upon Mormons eventhough he knows they disapprove of such lifestyle but he wants to force it upon them by bringing radios and appliances even though he knows they don't use such materials .
