Respuesta :

Answer:

A. Native Americans would benefit from the introduction of the settlers' American way of life.

Explanation:

According to Manifest Destiny, white Americans were chosen by God to populate North America. However, that obviously did not include other races (primarily Native Americans).

In the beginning, it was thought that Native Americans and white immigrants would be able to live in harmony. White Americans would get land, and Native Americans would benefit from their technology, food, religion, etc. But as white Americans spread throughout the continent, they wanted more and more, and in the end, destroyed everything the Natives had.

Native Americans would benefit from the introduction of the settlers' American way of life was the belief behind Manifest Destiny. The idea of Manifest Destiny had many elements, each serving people in distinctive ways.

EXPLANATION:

There are components of Manifest Destiny. They are explained below:

• Religious Influence

Entire expansion and travel were part of the spirit of Manifest Destiny, a faith that it was God's will that America extends through the continent, and to operate and fill the nation as they want. Many expansionists suppose God has the power to maintain and lead human destiny.

• A Sense of a Mission

Manifest Destiny was the motive to recover attention in territorial expansion. With a sensation of the mission, people were lured by infinite treaties and rarely occupied land that lies just outside the borders of their country. There was also a rising desire to grow trade with the Far East. Going West would ultimately open new trade paths.

• The Dark Side

For all the positive ambiance and great spirit created by Manifest Destiny, it also generated the dark side of American History, no darker than the dilemma of American Indians. Whereas the positive lineup of Manifest Destiny was a wave of energy and enthusiasm to drive the West, the negative lineup is the belief that white people had the right to extinguish anything and anyone, who were mainly Native Americans, that got in the way. Mapping out the path of the Manifest Destiny throughout the West would emphasize mass devastation of tribal organizations, Indian containment to reservations, and mass annihilation. The dark side of Manifest Destiny disclosed the white people’s belief that his settlement of native land and civilization was predestined.
