When I eat I balance my foods based on the amount of calories there are and on how much my tummy wants to eat. For example if I'm about to eat some rice with beans I make sure the rice measures a fistful because although rice is delicious it consists of a lot of carbohydrates. In sum if I just chose to eat something full of carbs or sugar I give up eating another thing that's full of carbs because I balance. Hope this helps

If your mom is like mines who calls me fat and told me to eat less but she still cook a whole feast, don't stuff yourself when you are full but don't eat too less because you are beautiful the way you are. Don't let other people's opinion get to you, love yourself the way you are. :D
