The first one: you must label them on ur own. Number of hours on the y axis and number of lawns on the x axis. I would do 0-5 or 0-7 something like that.

Next: for every single one of these you wanna find the number of lawns first and then the hours and mark it there. So for example, let’s say you were doing the first one. Find the 4 going across and the the three going up and meet them at their box. Do this for every single one. Of course this is after you already labeled everything so. Hope that helped.

The second one:

Domain: the complete set of possible values of the independent variable

Range: the complete set of all possible resulting values of the dependent variable (usually after you have substituted the domain)

You can tell it’s a function using a vertical line. If a vertical line intersects the graph more than once then the relation that the graph represents is NOT a function.

I hope this helped you!

Answer:

For the graph, A. the points plotted should be (1,1),(2,2),(2,5),(3,5),(4,3).

B. Domain - (1,2,3,4)      Range- (1,2,3,5)

C. In order for this relation to be a function, there can only be 1 output for each input meaning the X´s cannot be repetitive having a different output each time. Since the x axis has 2 twice but has a different Y value, this is not a function.
