Aaron is doing a research paper on camels and was surprised to find out that a camel’s hump does not contain water. Aaron knows that the camel’s hump has something to do with why camels are well suited for situations where food and water are scarce.

A camel's hump actually contains fat. The camel uses this fat stored in it's hump to supply for it's needs when food and water are scarce.
