1) Protecting America´s border with México is a state issue because the border is national territory and when someone cross it has access to the others states of the country not only the one that he or she crossed the border.
2) If a person enters illegaly to the United States, brakes the Immigration and Nationality Law, the Hart Celler Law, the Immigation Reform Law, Ilegal Immigration Reform and Immigration Responsability Reform Law and Personal Responsability and Work opportunity Reconciliation Law. This laws shows that this matters affect also the economy of the state since the work of its inhabitants is on risk because of the illegal immigrants.
3) If the current federal methods are not working, the state must interfere and support the states by bringing new ideas about how to solve this problem.
4) A governor has the authority to enforce federal laws against illegal immigration because in his or her state he or her is the authority and as some states give shelter to immigrants because they choose to, they can also choose to enforce laws against illegal immigrants.
5) The state can use its laws to arrest illegal aliens that cross the border because they would be also immigrants from another planet with no legal authorization to get into the United States so they wuld be breaking the Law.
