Area is basically finding how much of something is inside of something. Area is mostly used in math so in math, they sometimes ask you what is the area of this square, for example. First of all, the formula of finding the area is length time width. So let's say that length is 8 inches and the width is 6 inches. So 6 times 8 equals 56 so the area is 56.
