First, I would like to give you a tip on writing fractions on here:  When writing fractions on brainly, you can set them up like so:  1/2
People on here will now what you mean and it is easier to write.

Work:

16 into a fraction would be 16 × 2 which is 32.  Then place it over 2, so it is  32/2

take away 5/2
32/2  -  5/2  =  27/2
