Well, I cant give you the answer, but I can tell you that the Religion started in Saudia Arabia... this should give you a pretty clear hint! ;)
Hmm.... I think the answer is traders from Arabia and India considering  Arab traders and sailors regularly visited the ports of Southeast Asia before they converted to Islam
