Evaporating rubbing alcohol. The molecules of rubbing alcohol are the same in both the liquid and gas phases.
“Burning a piece of wood” is a chemical change. The molecules in wood change into molecules of water, carbon dioxide, and ash.
“Cooking a hamburger” is a chemical change. The meat changes colour and develops a crisp, black surface.
“Rusting iron” is a chemical change. Rust is a different substance from iron. Iron is silvery-grey with a lustrous surface. Rust is reddish-orange, flaky, and nonmagnetic.
You must remember that a psychical change is a change that changes a elements physical characteristics so for example "evaporating rubbing alcohol" or the third option will be a good example of a physical change. It wouldn't be the first option because wood is turning into ash which is a chemical change. Wouldn't be cooking a hamburger because again changing into different elements. Also wouldn't be option D because metal is turning into rust which is a chemical change.
Hope this helps.
