I think you meant solve for y in the question. First I would try to get y/6 alone so I would subtract 6 from both sides making it y/6=-14. Then you would need to get y by itself so you would multiply both sides by six to get y = -84. If you have any clarification pls comment, I will try to get back as soon as possible!
