How order of operations works:
You don’t nessecarily do the problem left to right. You do it as follows:
1. Anything in parentheses
Anything in parentheses comes first
2. Multiplication or Division
Whichever comes first in the problem
3. Addition and Subtraction
Whichever comes first in the problem
