Ethos is the cultural background of the current time period. That would mean that 3 for absolute certain is one of your choices. A term like economic violence pertains to a certain period and the examples are for a certain period. Not that it isn't true now. It is, but many of the companies that left looking for greener pastures came back to America. I guess they found out America has more to offer than cheep labor.
It's a toss up between 4 and 5. I think you are right to choose 4 if for no other reason than you choose it. I would go with it because the background from which Jackson was speaking was the here and now when he delivered his speech. [I had no idea he was so eloquent. This speech is a master piece. That's one thing for sure that America has -- good speakers.]
