Although there is debate in regards to the story and its true origin, there have been changes made at Frito-Lay (PepsiCo) in regards to intellectual property. Should your ideas benefit the company in terms of intellectual property, they will own a portion of it. After watching the video and reading the chapter, do you think it is fair that a corporation would be able to claim intellectual property due to an employees ideas? Considering they provide a platform for development are they in the right?
