Annika Sorenstam was a professional golfer on the LPGA tour from 1994-2008 with career earnings totaling over $22 million. During that time she won 72 events, 10 major championships, was rookie of the year in 1994, named player of the year 8 times, Vare trophy winner 6 times (player with the best scoring average), tour money winner 8 times, and voted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2003.
