A customer places an order to purchase an equity security and instructs the broker-dealer to execute the transaction on a specific exchange. The broker-dealer:
a) Must execute the transaction on that exchange
b) Has the discretion to execute the transaction on any exchange
c) Must execute the transaction on the most favorable exchange
d) Cannot execute the transaction on any exchange
