Be sure to include the following:

the basic plot summary
the setting
the universal theme that will be revealed
the incorporation of multiple perspectives

Even though you're not writing your historical fiction narrative just yet, you should plan its plot, characters, setting, conflict and theme. Remember: you are selecting any period from history and writing a story based on actual people or events. Your narrative may include imagined characters and their conflicts.
