A car is moving at a constant speed has 360,000J of kinetic energy. When the driver applies the brakes, the car stops in a distance of 95m.
a) Calculate the force that stops the car.
b) What happens to the kinetic energy of the car.

I know the formula kinetic energy = 1/2 x mass x speed squared but it doesn't give the speed or mass of the car so how do you work it out? x
